Iain Lunt has been playing the guitar since his early teens. After finishing his GCSEs Iain studied for a BTEC National diploma in Popular Music at Mid-Cheshire College, before going on to gain his degree through the Open University. He began teaching guitar in 2006 and since then has worked with students of all ages, from year 1 up to 6th form, as well as teaching adults privately. Aside from teaching guitar he also has experience of volunteering for after school clubs in local primary schools and helping to run church youth groups. Iain is always keen to give his students the opportunity to perform together as part of a group, no matter what their ability, and he usually aims to do at least one concert or assembly per year in each primary school that he works in. He enjoys playing all sorts of different music, from rock and pop to jazz, blues and classical guitar. When it comes to teaching, above all he loves to see students enjoying their instrument, whatever the style of music.
