Eleanor Wilkie BMus, PGCE


Eleanor studied Music and Music Technology at University, where she was awarded a 2:1 BA Hons. From there, she achieved a PGCE in secondary education and then spent 10 years teaching in secondary schools. During all of this time, Eleanor was also performing in multiple bands at various gigs and festivals on the folk and bluegrass scene, on instruments including piano, violin and double bass. Eleanor is passionate about performance and is eager to encourage students to perform too, whether it be for education or simply for fun. Eleanor also organises an annual music festival in Cheshire, where she enrols bands to play and organises workshops for children and adults too.
