Alex Tweedie

Alex has been playing the guitar for over 14 years. Since learning from an early age by a Music For Life teacher, Alex has accomplished a lot in his 22 years. From playing regular gigs up and down the country, to writing and performing his own music, no challenge has been too much for Alex. He made a brief appearance on the Channel 5 TV Show, “Baby Ballroom” as the performer for the night and prides himself on his song writing abilities also. He has written songs for nervous groom’s on their wedding day, to surprise their partner-to-be and he has even performed during wedding proposal’s. He attended South Cheshire College in 2012, to study for a BTEC Level 3 in Music Performance, achieving remarkable grades and he is also a qualified sound technician. Alex has previously worked as a lifeguard and is still working as a regular musician. He hopes to inspire the next generation of young musicians to believe in themselves and his passion and enthusiasm is blatant to see. Alex has performed to thousands of people, played at many festivals and has been involved in the BBC Introducing circuit for quite some time. He still describes the best feeling in the world as, “The moment when everything clicks, the pupil stops doubting themselves and they can play whatever it is, which is challenging them.”
