GROUPS
Guitar Ensembles
About the group
These ensembles offer young guitarists the opportunity to make music with others. They arose out of a very popular workshop day offered to guitarists in the summer of 2005; students enjoyed it so much we decided to offer guitar ensembles as a regular feature.
Who are these guitar ensembles suitable for?
Membership is open to those students in Y4 – Y8 …. regardless of how long they have been playing!
When are rehearsals held?
Normally once a month alternating between Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 12.30pm. Children come from all over Cheshire to play with this ensemble, so we only rehearse once a month. This keeps the commitment for parents to transport children to the minimum – there are usually only 9 rehearsals a year.
Where are rehearsals held?
One ensemble rehearses at Ruskin Road, Crewe the other at the CastlePark Arts Centre in Frodsham.
